"Has anyone actually seen or interacted with this young lady. If you want to know where SunTruist is taking the banking industry you need to read up on her. Millennial with crypto and blockchain background who will lead the further destruction of this bank. Pay attention people. This is your future brought to by EL and BOD."

Although I haven't interacted with her, I can make some assumptions having been in environments around people like her. Most likely, she will be placed on a pedestal and all within the organization will be asked to bow down and worship her.

She is a breed of the new "Tech Children" personalities, who come up with ideas and then force other people to work through the problems to realize them (She's got an important meeting to go to, you know?). Perhaps she can accomplish tons on her own, but most likely she requires lots of support people to realize her grand agenda and execute on it. If you are good at kissing rectums, and immune to "kiss up, kick down" politics, then try to get on her ship and ride her wave. Please realize, however, that you will be "the guy behind the guy, behind the guy" in almost every instance. You will not get recognized or rewarded for your work, but she certainly will be. All the old men will fawn all over her; it will be disgusting.

If I were to make a prediction, I'd predict the "Long game" or whatever it's named will have a relatively short run. It will be promoted vigorously for a few months will rise a bit in adoption, but then its use will quickly drop off as money management isn't a game. Her personality may wane some, but she'll forever be on that pedestal, in the shrine of the "Golden Children". This is the future of Tech, folks.

Best of luck! Hopefully I'm wrong.

They keep saying Micro-Services. I do not think it means what they think it means.

It would be nice if the bots actually worked. The one for the imaging system has been down for months.

Your future fellow “Teammates” also notice Truist was founded in ATL in 1891.

"Truist is focused on greater alignment between technology and line of business leaders and forming more co-located and integrated teams," says Meyer. Getting products and services to market faster is a priority in every industry today, and the mandate for agility is pushing traditional industries like banking to the cloud.
Established in 1891 in Atlanta, Georgia, Truist is bringing its tech stack up to speed by pushing more of its processes to the cloud. This includes working with best-of-breed SaaS solutions like Box.
"Architecture is a big part of this." says Meyer, "Moving to more modern architectures like micro-services or API-driven services, or just looking at more of a platform view of the world versus an application-by-application-view, are all things that are top of mind in our strategy today."

Getting proactive about AI
Along with the emphasis on building out a more integrated architecture, two years ago, the company launched a Center of Excellence to study robotic processes automation and desktop automation and currently has over 50 automations currently in production.
Leveraging AI, automation and machine learning tools will allow Truist— and the financial industry in general — to better serve consumers across the board. Eventually, Meyer expects, AI will be built into significantly more technology industry-wide.

Yes the Suntrust management during merger loaded up on these agile coaches, scrum master ninjas etc. etc. Past time to send these highly compensated geniuses on to their next DEI fixer upper.

Must be why they just axed a dozen agile coaches and two dozen designers.

What a waste of money. I shall write a strongly worded letter and send it to Truist posthaste, so that they may file it, unread, along with all the other complaints I am certain they ignore.

Truist Foundry. Awesome. I bet that's one of those cutesy little 'build-by-playing' villages within the new Innovation Center. They bring in new kids fresh out of art school to come up with this stuff; its the team where the 'special people' work.

Is this really the future of banking? Is SunTruist an industry leader or a laughing stock in the industry? Does this create jobs or cause job losses?

This is not a free advertising board. Also, Truist is set to fail, just a matter of time.
