Do you think we’ll ever hit 50 again, or has that ship sailed?

It is coming back but not until Hans and his half-witted 5G depart the premised. Hans and his Berserkers have destroyed more capital than even Lowell. The company went through a similar period in the early to mid-2000s. Much of the issue then after the dotcom bus was Vodafone's defacto control over Verizon's decision-making. Ellis was brought in and Vodafone was bought out, and the continued network investments in 4G and FiOS brought the stock right back up.
Unfortunately, we currently have a woke and broke Board of Directors doing the bidding of Blackrock and Vanguard. Their woke nonsense and 5G fantasies are powered not by science but by hopes and wishes and fiction spun by a linguistically challenged handball player and former failed CEO of a VZ parts contractor.
Lowell was a last-string CEO who appears to have picked a last-place CEO to make Lowell's reign look more successful than it was.
My big fear is impact if the US debt crisis is not resolved prior to June 1st. You know if we head into severe recession and the DOW gets crushed, imagine what will happen to the VZ stock! I was still buying at $57.00 and when it went to $61.00 I thought I was making a ki-ling. I finally couldn’t take the roller caster ride annymore and bailed out at $54.00. The dividend was not coming close to the losses! How will all this impact our day to day operation? The future here could severely impact all of us - let’s hope it doesn’t come to that
It's sailed. We're rapidly approaching commodity mode with nothing new to replace the inevitable loss in revenue.
Fire the CEO and announce layoffs. That will do it.
Go woke go broke is all fine and dandy. But last last two contracts were settled early. Now on the other hand Lowell McAdam kept it real nothing woke about him . But he had your a-s on the Picket line every few years .
The only thing hitting 50 will be my age.
Let the unwoke dogs lie, get out of vz stock while you have anything left, remember Lucent?
Happy to see that the ESG investors are getting crushed. The WSJ has an excellent scoring of the mutual funds who are voting against this co---e nonsense. Even Han's masters at Blackrock are starting: "go woke, go broke!"
Yes, if we lived another 50 years
"Yes once Hans brilliant vision of 5G pays off soon. Stock should rival Apple." -I wish Hans's mom would stop posting.
50 i dont think so unless they can get their 5g working ,cause as of now their 5g service is garbage .85% return rate on there 5g home cr-p ..what does that say..
Yes once Hans brilliant vision of 5G pays off soon. Stock should rival Apple.
No, not until we have a new CEO and rebrand ourselves.
Yes. The death star is a much bigger shtsh. Tmo, while much better than before, will always lag in coverage.
Take customers from cable who do everything to push them away.
