Anyone negotiate their severance package before and if so, any tips/advice about where to push and where not to?

Lucky duck; I got told that anyone that doesn't accept the terms of the severance would be placed on the not eligible for rehire list.
Was able to get put to the 4 weeks and accelerated vesting of RSUs. Good luck!
@OP+1mAzDPOa - if you have anything special to offer(secrets, whistleblowing materials etc), everything is open; else feel lucky company offered you something.
I don’t have experience with this at MDT, but as a manager at another company I had an employee negotiate for health insurance to be extended due to some health conditions she had. That was a very unique situation though and I worked closely with legal and HR on her termination and severance.
