They are doing ANYTHING and EVERYTHING to get people out of there and not pay severance. Change my mind!

LOA is the way to go abs protect yourself for 3 months
We’re slowly but surely picking up again. I’m working 15-20 loans which is a huge increase from where we were before ! Definitely a positive note. Not sure when next RIFS will be but it’s looking good for RN.
HL stateside is what I am referring to. Slowly but surely everything is going to MNL
What town (Tempe, ect) and what area (mortgages, banks, etc)? It is hard to follow when we do not know where and what.
This last layoff I noticed it was mostly people 50-60 and women. They are trying to make the firm more woke so that younger people will apply. And those in their 50's were concerned that management wanted to give lending authority to MNL. That would be a HUGE mistake as these people have no clue! When you have to explain the same thing over and over again day after day, to the same people, it's scary. So, I just lay low until I have had enough and will look outside the banking system.
You're not wrong. When credit card exited Columbus back in 2019, specialists were told they needed to apply for other positions within the company. If they did not get hired into a role they applied for or didn't apply at all, they were mostly placed into debit card claims and fraud. Once that occurred, low performers or people that couldn't catch on were eventually managed out. Some people also outright resigned after the transition due to not liking their job placement. It super stunk, especially for people that were there a long time - they got screwed.
What's the difference between rif and layoffs?
- no severance pay?
