Thread regarding Mondelez International Inc. layoffs

It's getting tiring

I understand that some people are well-intentioned and want to motivate others to leave this place, which has long been a sweatshop. However, the constant questioning of why we are still here is really frustrating. It should be easy enough to conclude that we're here because we can't get anything better? I've been looking for a new job for months and then someone asks me why I'm still here...

No, plenty of people are here because of their tenure. They have decent vacation, the pay is mediocre, and they want their severance. I don't care if people think the severance is bad, and people should leave now, without it. People want out, and they want their severance too. Why is that so hard to understand. Those of you thateft and are happy great. Those that are still here and miserable, sad, but they'll leave when they are ready. What works for one, doesn't work for another. Do you, and don't worry about what other people are doing.
