Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

How is Humana compared to United Health or Optum for Technical Product Managers?

Any help would be much appreciated. I am with UHG and want to move to a different company. Day to day I do lot of technical stories, UX, working with business and engineering (offshore) teams. I am currently fully remote. Are those rules expected to be fully remote in the future as well?

How is it different in Humana?

: @ufbr+1m4TVRto- gravesite? Our department is as busy as ever. The wind down of the employee group that you cite as a pivot point is very off base. Do you have any idea the scope and width of Humana and where they are going? They are expanding the Centerwells nationwide, they are massively investing in the SNP market. They are securing government contracts. The Medicare advantage programs exceeded projections. I think there is safety in Humana, as with any company, if you’re on the path that supports their growth. That being said, they’re is always need for tech support, but those may also be roles they look to consolidate

Please go somewhere else! It's like a gravesite over here. Entire departments are getting laid off and with the wind down of the employer group products to be expected over the next 18-24 months, the horizon for any kind of job security for anyone at Humana is pretty dim. But hey, if you want to work somewhere where you have a sick feeling in your stomach everyday in an extremely unstable atmosphere, then Humana is for you.

The last round of RIFs impacted IT, and with the change coming in coverage of commercial, I’d think twice

It’s a great political company with a interest in making healthcare products.
