We are not very good at making vehicles. If we switched 1/3 of our capacity to munitions, that would save some some jobs.

Do t buy anything that's made by Ford, GM, or Stelantis. They are all poor quality vehicles.
Like making the Jeep, it makes sense. For the Jeep, Ford made nearly half the total production. It scaled our manufacturing prowess, earned us steady government revenue, and deeply honed our expertise in lightweight four-wheel-drive systems, even though Willys held the core design patents. We are entering a drone world. Taking to the skies. Terrestrial vehicles will be a thing of the past, alongside the horse and carriage.
Nobody wants to bring their Patriot to a dealership for a recall repair.
