@OP I got into meeting room with business update, and several managers and several senior principal eng, principal eng, we are all gone, no matter your title and competence.

I found out the news by logging into my regular 1:1 to see HR also on the call. They don’t even bother to give me the advance warning of a “business update.” Glad to know what years of service at the company is worth to them!

what functions are impacted? Is NPD Quality or RPE quality impacted? or is just robotics?

Got a “Business Update” meeting request from Surgical Quality leadership. Guess they’ll have to solve their own quality problems going forward. That is if they care about product quality and putting the patient first.
