There is an ongoing RIF that started mid September and it's expected to go through end of September 2026.
This one is subtle...and quiet. It's hitting a lot of departments but it's a person here and there, no 'mass RIF'.

@OP Can confirm. And it seems to be middle aged people near retirement. They’re keeping the young, lower paid staff. I am mid fifties and have 20 years in with the company. I am currently training my coworker (25 years younger) to absorb my job, though she has enough to do already. Talked to another colleague who has been there 28 years, was 2 years from retirement.
I have been through other layoffs there in years past, which were due to contract losses and they used above-board decision criteria, and preference was given to people with seniority. This is different. No formal announcement, no explanation of who they chose and why. Seemingly out of the blue.
