They made this doll 30 years too late. For a man in his 60s the guy looks amazing, but to a young kid or collector who cares? This will bo-b like he-man.
Adult collectors is the new market they are trying to hit. Most miss the mark
this line is just for PR (outdated PR). There's no money there.
@bw Ding ding ding! This is the PROBLEM…. I’m old and a collector and I thought Lenny was flushed with his pants. Speaking it will not manifest it no matter what you say. He AND Stevie need to be left as nostalgia. Not manifested to collect dust in warehouses where you pray for a spark to be able to write it all off. Collectors are even tired of this junk. Even resellers are starting to reject it. If “young people” aren’t your audience, why is Mattel chasing “influencers”? You will never find your new way to play if you are stuck in the past.
Stevie Nick is great, but I've always preferred Christine McVie as a vocalist.
"Any young person" is not the targeted audience for this, great if they do. Like most Barbie Collector items, this one is geared more towards adults. I doubt "any young person" knows David Bowie, Billie Jean King, Stevie Nicks, etc., either.
