In April, the board laid off 31 employees and transferred a building, aiming to save $4.5 million. They have since partnered with the Southwestern Ohio Council of Governments to transition eligibility services, allowing some laid-off staff to move with the program. The board is now engaged in strategic planning for the next three years, seeking community input. Investigative services will also transition on October 1st, with staff moving to the new arrangement.
