How many times are they gonna make us portion update on our computer and have it automatically restart when we’re literally in the middle of something!?! I have a presentation in four minutes and all of a sudden, my computer just restarted with zero warning that I need to do an update of any sort! It’s ridiculous at this point.

Right, that's how we got such incompetent middle management.
Every issue for how things have run here for the last 5 years can be tied to one category. They recruit and hire from the lower third of the class across the board.
AI may be working to expand the number of potential problems that require a restart-level response. M$ just updated Win 11 again a week after the monthly update..
Yes! I thought it was just me, but this week has been obnoxious to say the least. Now my laptop is acting up to the point where I’m not productive at all. It has gotten super slow, just completely closes applications when I’m in the middle of something (including when I’m on the Internet or booking travel - it just closes out my whole Internet page without any warning - not even an update it just closes out).
I try to get everything done before the end of the day, but I gave up on that this week and I don’t care what is outstanding- when it hits 5 o’clock, I’m shutting down and if they ask why things aren’t done, they can go talk to the technology group. It’s so frustrating.
I've been saying this to myself the last 3 weeks. I had 2 reboots today, a couple last week, I'm sure another one is coming tomorrow. What more could they be putting on this piece of sh-t HP

@OP Interesting this topic came up... Upon shutting down at the office in the new WPE era, I got the update today. Waiting, waiting, waiting, and waiting. Meanwhile, I'm not authorized to get OT.

We have updates all the time lately. I am sure it is from all the hacking since our clown started his war. It will get worse before it gets better.
