No bonus, deferred RSU vesting, pension, low probability of surviving 10-year annual pip = Base is all you get

@OP You have people getting paid over $250k/year to hold Zoom calls and fill in spreadsheets. I fail to see the awful part.
@cy Yeah chief, you don't work here. Begone troll!
@c2 so happy for you. Many people are so brainwashed they think anything outside Exxon can’t be as good which simply is not true.
Add to that the fact that things will continue to get worse at ExxonMobil’s with low raises and high pip percentage and terrible culture and the answer is clear - ABANDON SHIP, EXXODUS
@a2 as a former probable quitter, I assure you that you're the loser in this game. I have more workplace flexibility (I am not tracked like a lab rat), I have more base and more bonus and a bigger RSU pool that vests in a shorter period of time.
@a2 Makes sense. It’s definitely built for the “strong animals” who come in pre‑sponsored. Jungle upbringing must’ve been a real advantage for you.
@a4 makes total sense now. You must also be the guy that got the WAEM survey cancelled this year as well.
People in the comments are likely XOM lifers who have been chugging the kool-aid and don't know that they've been getting fleeced for years. Better wise up because your job will be going overseas in about 5 year's time.
@OP I love my job at ExxonMobil and genuinely do not understand all the negative comments
Okay, can we please expect your resignation soon?
EM is made of strong leaders, look at the guy heading up property, aviation etc.
EM is not for the weak, good luck probable quitter
