I am looking for reservoir engineer job and saw many job posts by Exxon at the same time i am seeing too many people leaving the company. I am not sure what is going on. Is the unconventional teams are doing good and keep hiring or like all departments in the company. Thank you.

Fewer than 40% of people who are offered a job in reservoir are accepting right now due to the low compensation. If you work Uncon you can make a lot more at other companies. The reason they are having to hire is so many people are quitting due to being unhappy.
