I'm stressed, exhausted, and so fed up with everything right now. I want to leave, but I have bills and responsibilities that don't give me that option.

@OP seriously you are the same person posting for the last 6, 7, 8 years. It’s not fun anymore.
I stopped caring as well after receiving my assessment. It just wasnt the hours to get that assessment. But I’m not any happier because coming to work feels like a burden and my effort was wasted. Golden handcuffs are real. I’m trying to find more joy outside work and purpose. Donuts the minimum, collect my paycheck and go live life. No more sacrificing weekends and nights for them.
Too close to retire to leave so I just had to change my attitude.
I would suggest don’t give two flips about XOM and take their money.
It’s not worth your health.
Over time try to reduce your bills and debt. Financial freedom is worth the sacrifice.
So many of us feel the same way. I haven’t talked to anyone in a very very long time who didn’t feel the same way. It is crazy because I used to enjoy working at ExxonMobil but I no longer recognize the company. It is so aweful here now. Every day is he-l. Even when away from work I am miserable.
100% right there with you. I am actively interviewing to try leave. I have calculated how much money I need to pay my bills and am willing to take a substantial drop in compensation to leave Exxon.
