Instead of having an AI push to $150 we have a gravity pull to $107. How is the quantum switch going?

Trump will lose the midterms. That will boost the stock market. Cisco will be at an all-time high.
CSCO up $2.50. I don't see a new thread about that.
No one can explain why Cisco is over $50 right now so if you hold anything that's in the money be happy and really think about whether you want to keep holding.
with above given numbers that insiders own and how many they recently sold (via 10b5-1 with 90-120day notice), i do not see anything to worry about music getting stopped soon, unless it happens suddenly (like some global event or something like that).
Talk about selfishness!
Now you are 40 years late:

GE set the gold standard of ditching 10% every year regardless of market conditions way back in the 1980s, and you'll see Cisco's name in the list of other companies that copied this practice. It started with everyone's dream boat John Chambers.
It's just that these "insiders" permanently sell cisco shares. Stock trading 101: diversify.

cashing out before the music stops.any recent insider huge stock sale to prove it?
Confirmed.
@ps It’s all about managing the decline at this point, and cashing out before the music stops.
I just learned Cisco has asked leaders to pick at least one or two folks from their team they do not think has much impact on their teams as a mandate before next quarter. Apparently they have to let go at least one to two people. This Cisco wide. Not to mention, I also heard not everyone will get a good bonus even though we has a good blow out year.
Talk about selfishness!
CSCO Is actually down nearly $23.00 from the ATH just over 3 months ago. Do you still think being down another $2 is a win?
Compared to where Cisco was in 2023 when they had essentially the same revenue adjusted for inflation when you add in Splunk Cisco's effectively gone nowhere and had its stock double. $107 still seems awfully high for a company that's treading water.
@g9 I think the push limit has something to do with the quantum charge.
@fn in that case why not say AI pushed the stock price towards $3000?
it's up 5 today
Stock market 101:
Today, AI pushed the stock price towards $150. On Monday, gravity pulls, again.
it's up 5 today
@cs I agree with you 100%. I'd also argue that our leadership lacks the intelligent foresight to promote real sustained growth.
There's no margin [for Cisco] with AI. Investors will hammer the Cisco stock the instant it experiences the slightest margin erosion. If you want Cisco stock to appreciate, you need to be cheering for higher revenues from products that improve margin.
And at some point, the CFO must stop trying to grow the bottom line faster than the top line. The stock price was inflated after several quarters of extreme cost cutting pressure, required to grow the bottom line. This model isn't sustainable, and once it goes back to normal, investors will see that as weakness in the stock.

@OP I'm all for the demise of CSCO..but $2 down on day after day of massive market correction is surprisingly good.
