I thought intel was making employees work from an office, no more remote work from home, other states, other countries?

I like how people still attend meetings remotely due to lack of conference room availability. Makes complete sense
Pet theory- they’ve quietly communicated the policy and its criticality. They now quietly sit back and rack up all the data they need to fire you with cause- no package. Between this and attrition, they work towards their headcount targets at a significant discount.
With gasoline price is so high, I am losing my money just driving to the campus to p-e twice per day in the office. It isn't worth to do RTO OP. F-c king stupid idea and policy.

@aq agree I find it hilarious that Intel is too (whatever) to make a policy or start HR enforcement so until then I won’t come in and my manager doesn’t care, so that will get me to retirement in 15 years
There's literally zero repercussions for ignoring RTO. When a policy is not enforced, it is no longer a policy, it is merely a suggestion.
Until people actually start getting fired, no one will care.
