Leader advice about assigned seating

Overheard a leader recommend opening a ticket for HR to review the seating chart since the assigned seating was unreasonable.

That was the most political way I’ve ever heard anyone say to report someone to HR for a flop in assigned seating

I heard people say they were disappointed with the “leaders” (actually saw hand quotes) that they just acted like it was a normal day and didn’t try to do anything to help people find their desks.

Also was in a “leader meeting” where said leaders intentionally didn’t do anything because they wanted people to understand this is the new normal and they don’t want people to get the wrong idea about work.

I literally cannot believe the pandemic panic hires are still managers. They will not read, they do not keep up with industry trends, and cannot understand basic leadership principles.

I do everything in my power to automate “leader” responsibilities in my BU

Soon they will be putting reps in other people's cars. You will have to abdicate your keys to HR and someone on your team will be sitting in your passengers side seat to work. It will be like some weird valet service.
