@a7 the excess bonus had nothing to do with quality of people's work. it was just redirected funds from the huge number of people who received no bonus at all for not spending enough hours in the office. they did that to make it sting even more and encourage the the no-bonus folks to throw their hands up and quit.
I didn't have to go back full time but I did go in for a couple of hours to enjoy the chaos and soak in the misery of the ungrateful employees of this mediocre company.
@bm it’s not even 630 and I’m in the eastern time zone.
I don’t really think many people went to the office. The building I was in had a whole floor that was basically empty
left home at 730, returned at 630. 3 hours on the road, 30 mins just in and out of garage

I have not uttered a word all day. Had 1 zoom meeting and didn't need to say anything there either. Not speaking unless spoken to. Just doing my required work at an easy pace. Not connecting, not stretching, not going above and beyond. I did all that and more when we were remote full time and on site once every 4 weeks. The results spoke for themselves. Doing the bare minimum now to not get fired. I hope this is what Abby expected.
