Cisco was pretty anti-white during covid . especially after floyd. We had all these useless people with 0 technical skills in BS positions calling everyone "privileged" lol. Even some directors and VPs were spreading this cr-p. My point was this, who has the power to hire, promote, fire and LR? So wtf are you preaching to us about "privilege" the only ones with privilege were the ones lecturing us on privilege!
I personally dont feel any truth in this.. after working few years here first time came across such a allegation.. they may not allow something but their policies r secular I feel and thus good.

Cisco US alone has 33% Asian that is a HUGE number. I doubt that the percentage is the same in other regions and guess which group is causing issues like the one discussed here

In my group alone I am seeing a certain team hiring people with a certain background although statistically they a tiny fraction of the population (a subgroup of one of the two groups discussed here)

Just on a "cultural" level alone, the act of even hiring such ingrained corruption, which by its very nature has an already baked-in hostile work environment, is an unfair/illegal business practice within the USA.
Bigger problem is imported caste system. Whatever the benefits, the drawbacks are way worse.
