A colleague got hit with a "Needs Improvement" for the first time - he has been with Microsoft for 12 years. He's not waiting around for PIP, he's actively looking.
@b5 Lots of people getting hit some with 10+ years. I was told to take the "voluntary" separation agreement or go on PIP and be gone in 30 days. Hearing many others are affected. Tech sales and other areas. I am taking the PIP at 4 months severance plus my bonus. cya Microsoft!
