What’s your experience with BTC and KLTC in terms of general competency?
If given the choice, which of these colleagues would you want the o collaborate with?
I’ve only had experience with BTC, not so great but haven’t had a chance with KLTC.

KLTC is “not yet great”. If downstream sites stopped using KL and had to do everything KL was doing plus the regular jobs - there’d be no loss. The mfg sites can do it faster and better. It’s a freaking joke. There’s some cost saving for you Darren. What makes me sad is essentially managers squeezed sites to deliver more with less AND train its replacement workers AND correct all their mistakes. The managers were right. I hate it. I feel like that’s the “dual challenge” manufacturing faces today. KLTC = no value workflow
KLTC far better with skills, analytical thinking and not just box checking, and better personal/ interaction communications
KLTC is by far the better from a technical perspective. A lot of them studied at Australia or UK universities, have worked at some of our Malaysian assets and have some operational knowledge. Easier to work with too. BTC has been very much hit or miss and the hits realize that they are underpaid so they leave. The BTC concept is a self fulfilling prophecy as all the good HC10 folks have left through country programs or will be PIP so we will be forced to use the TCs as the North Star.
