Hearing rumors they are not looking at just badge swipes any more and are now looking at ip addresses of laptops and where people are accessing the network from.
Has anyone heard more about this?

@1ez the company doesn't exist without BTD and it has been this way for over a decade, hence rules for thee but not for wee. It's understaffed, underfunded, and there is not enough local talent to fill the needs. Leadership has less say in what they do
Literally just received a spreadsheet to fill out with attendance exemptions.
Maybe they stopped tracking badge swipes after seeing the post on here requesting the vp badge swipe data…
@bt only Jim’s space has to use the pto site which is very strange.
@dj so many people at the BTD do this and they still have jobs. It is frustrating to see

They used that data to fire a few people that were swiping, going to the gym, then heading home.
I think this list is a lot like the badge swipe list. Make sure you aren’t at the bottom and no one will think twice.

well, yes. It is being Piloted with some teams here in BTD and BTC.
which is currently tracking if you are in office before the normal working hours (9-4)
Also,
managers gonna compare your Badge Swipes, your Network IP and PTO website (to confirm if WFH request is submitted & approved) and then gonna approve your timesheets going forward.

We have managers who never come into office and they are worried about us taking a morning call from home before dropping kids at school on our way in!?
I won’t be logging on a second over 8 hours if that’s the case.
I also heard that certain departments are having to badge out, is there any truth to that?
Good luck to the remote folks who take remote too seriously if that is the case
Wouldn't surprise me...this new CEO is a trainwreck so far. All these remote workers and the local ones get punished.
