But assigning me things I've never been trained on and expecting magic? That's the kind of stress I can't handle. I'm out of here as soon as I find something, even if it involves less pay.

Kinda glad I got severed when I did.
@b1 no I don’t know how to do “my job” - for a LOT of us- it’s completely new and we didnt work for textbook sales side of the company (nor did we ever want to) until the hostile takeover in May. This side of the business is a joke and the most unprofessional job and people.
@OP Forget magic, they probably just hope you figure out that you are no longer needed and they are pushing you out the door. Better than wasting good severance money after a bad employee. You know the saying; Don't let the door hit you in the $$$ on the way out.

Try getting your entire company and all you know eliminated and being thrown into Cengage textbooks and immediately getting copied on customer emails to help them with zero training. HR never even emailed a job description.
