If Tom makes that decision, are we going to replace Ms. Fleming with someone similar? BD has one of the most inefficient IT teams, and only a capable leader can turn it around. However, I doubt that many qualified candidates would be interested in joining BD.

@24r and they have the powerpoint to back it up - I have NEVER seen a powerpoint or chart or graph they have prepared that makes any sense at all. They can't even conceptualize that there is a relationship between data and transactions. Useless.
@24r that is what get rewarded even within the organization. Basic problem is decision making- we put extremely incompetent people in leadership positions. Most incompetent people will show hostility if their incompetence is challenged, hence it is difficult to work with these nincompoops. And that is why nothing gets delivered here.
@21h PWC hires nothing but spin doctors...every employee has the ability to make the most mundane, routine task sound like a NASA launch plan.
People seem to forget that the reason BD uses consultants is so that they can point to the consultants for the failures, if they ever recognize them. this is how some people have lasted at BD LONG after their usefulness date. PWC is useless, yet BD relies on them as if they actually have answers. It is a joke.
@1zm there are quite a few like that. None of these folks have any work ethics, just minting money is the goal. Unless new CIO can throw out all these bad apples, BD IT can’t heal.
Projects after projects fail but no one takes accountability.
@xt I’m convinced now that they spend bd money to hire their consultant friends for projects or friends who own their own “companies” and prob share the money .. because u see no results from these “consulting “ projects .. none

@bz there are many more, all have kick back relationship with some managers / decision makers. Corruption is in the blood of some ethnicity.

Tom doesn’t want qualified people he wants people who bow down to him , people who don’t challenge him , people who will quickly drink the kool aid and not ask any questions. The last time we had a qualified CEO was over 15 years ago. It Steve sichak .. since Steve bd has 4 cios and IT has become the complete calamity that is today.. the IT that does NOTHING.. red tape .. bureaucracy over bureaucracy they get nothing done they have no roadmap for anything .. they can’t integrate the acquisitions.. like I said they are a complete and utter incompetent group of people .. let’s not forget all the outsourcing to CG and TCS that’s what u get..
@a2 and he makes 17 million plus bonus while us peons have to justify our 60k yr salaries each year during PMP. You hired me don’t a job and we agreed on a salary, so why do I have to justify my job year after year. If I’m not doing it, fire me. Do away with all of this Bullsh!! and everyone get back to work. I don’t need two or three reminders to have it done by Aug 21. Seems like he needs to justify his salary!!!!
As long as TP is at the top, nothing will improve. The company is being run by a bunch of clueless BS artists who just want to get through each day and collect a paycheck.
