Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

Work from office

Is US Bank enforcing work from office policy like other major banks? Other banks are tracking ID card swipes when entering buildings and laying off remote workers. Perhaps they will start that after looming Union bank layoffs.

I am in 2-3x a week but it is not enforced much in tech. Encourages when we have larger get together a or reasons to be there. So far it has been very rational.

Expectation in my building now has been 2-3x a week in office, although it's highly inconsistent from group to group, really depends on how your management is. Our division manager is on the younger side and and more progressive thinking, he's encouraging us to make sure and he makes it clear that he comes in Monday Wednesday Thursday but I haven't seen him say a word about anyone he doesn't see. I do my part to play the game and make sure I see him around once a week.

My coworker and I always talk about this and say we just hope people who are more unlucky and don't have as good situations of this don't complain loudly and ruin it for the rest of us.
