We've already lost a bunch of people, and now we're supposed to lay off more? Do those at the top have any idea what they're doing? We can't just go around cutting people left and right without thinking about how it's gonna affect the business. We gotta think about what positions we can do without, but also make sure we can still get things done. Judging by everything I've seen, nobody is doing any of that. What kind of id--ts run this place?

It's the same group of people that try to take a moral high-ground while contradicting themselves: they decided to not build an office in North Carolina due to a transgender bathroom law but then later massively invested in China, who has been committing rampant human rights violations against the Uighur people. Or even the anti-g-y stances in Russia (before the war in Ukraine) that exist and we still expanded there. Or the issues Israel's treatment of the Palestinian people. You could even include the Forced Arbitration clauses that explicitly include in the cases of them violating US federal law, hamstringing employees from having real legal protection when dealing with discrimination and harassment (though PayPal is hardly unique in this). There are many examples of such inconsistencies.
If you're looking for logical thought from that group you're gonna be disappointed. They pay a lot of lip service to principles they don't really follow.
