Why does Verizon make it Impossible to cancel Disney Plus after the promotion period. I take 20 calls a day from people asking why they are getting charged for this service that they can’t cancel online.

If you look it up, there are steps to cancel. The thing is that people want everything done for them. If you signed up you have to cancel it yourself. From a web browser, sign in to My Verizon.
Only the Account Owner or Manager can perform these steps; here's additional info on account roles
From the My Verizon Home screen, navigate: AccountApps & add-ons.
Click Apps & add-ons overview.
From the 'My Add-ons & Apps' section, click the More icon More icon in the 'Disney+' section.
If necessary, click See All from the 'My Add-ons & Apps' section then from the 'Disney+' section, click Manage.
More icon for Disney Plus
From the 'Manage' section, click Cancel subscription.
Click Cancel subscription
To proceed, review the message then click Remove Disney+.
It may take up to 24 hours for these changes to take effect.
Remove Disney plus
Not defending Vz, but to be fair most services/subscriptions can't be cancelled online. They have to be done via phone. I suspect it's because they want the opportunity to change your mind and/or upsell you and they can't do that if they offer online cancellation. Go try cancelling something with a cable bill or other subscription and you'll find it's the same thing.
Whoopsie
Sorry we didn’t think anyone would cancel after they weren’t eligible so that feature wasn’t added/tested.
To cancel if you have it with FIOS has been a mess…wireless much easier IMO
Ja----f. This is a layoff site. Ask your manager . I'm sure you were sleeping during training.
Somehow they signed up for it online, they cancel it online. Not that hard really
It’s amazing anything works at all with the garbage systems VZ has.
