Might be true. it would give a reason why the board is ok with our CEO being in the board of BLACK rock and investing in to AT&T and actively working against the company he is supposed to be leading. also heard in wireless that 5G is replacing landline and they are not adding new business in some areas and still paying fines to NYC and Boston for leaving a dilapidated infrastructure. This will allow them to get rid of the union just like remote work eliminated the threat of a union in wireless and outsourcing it everything chance they can. It's a shame they are firing people left and right in wireless for nonsense while wireline gets treated very well for no reason as it's been a burden and not profitable for year's. They'll get a nice severance as my inept and incompetent “leadership” brings irrelevant coaching to us daily to build a case against us. Anyway I suppose you have a reason to stay but both sides will be sold off soon.

Potential sale of wireline is always a possibility, but this article doesn't pass the smell test...

Talks about if VZ is a good buy in 2022, yet article was written Jan 2023?
Trying to compare VZ net worth to Peru's GDP? Who does that?
Trading at stock price of less than $52?? That was in 2022...

Yeah -

Seriously bro.... your posting an article that says this...... GTFOH

..."AT&T paid $52.4 billion in cash and stock for Verizon Wireless. This transaction includes wireless and wireline properties in addition to licenses, network assets, and approximately 122 million subscribers in the United States. What is Verizon Wireless’s acquisition strategy? AT&T’s wireless network will now be much larger, giving it a competitive advantage over rivals like T-Mobile and Sprint. As a result of the acquisition, Verizon Wireless will have more resources to invest in its own network and expand into new markets."
