It depends on the GATT rate
When I left the company with the ESP (infosys rejectee), I had a pension. Nice lump sum after 35+ years service at 0% gatt rate. Unioners aren't the only ones with a pension. Even though our pensions were frozen, our 401k match was bumped and if you'd been here long enough, it's pretty much a wash. Add the enhanced severance and a hefty 401k, I did pretty well. I come back here every once in awhile to see what the atmosphere looks like. Seems like it's getting even worse and I think I made the right decision to leave.
Hehe ..manager tough guy below is slightly off his/her rocker, probably thinks the union also begged for a pension too ..yeah ..they got that by asking nicely ...he/she should post their name here with a list of their demands to vz ..like a pension for managers to start..I can't wait ..the only manager with a pension..let us know how that went.
Eisp? They are a thing of the past. Like someone said, you should have left before GATT rates went up. It’s probably going to stay high for a few years.
Lies
If you had left at the right gatt rate two years ago you wouldn’t need an eisp
at least the union employees get a pension and a eisp .Unlike you union haters get S-Hit yeah you heared Sh-it from the A-ss when you get riffed.lmao
Severances will be a thing of the past, you will be made miserable until you quit or have a case built against you to be fired. Have some dignity and leave, you deserve better.
An EISP is what the unioners beg and grovel for.
What is EISP?
Yes mega EISP coming soon. 3 percent at 50.
