NJ has alot of openings because NO ONE wants to work there. Fiserv knows they have a problem.

Gee, could the priority be NJ tax breaks and not associate engagement?
A co-worker has been filling the 3 day rule. Last week, they took a day off which resulted in 2 days in the office, 2 days work from home. They were called into the boss’s office for not being in the office the majority of the week. Hunted down by the badge swipe police who follow FB’s id--tic rules to the point of lunacy.
Depending on your BU they have stupid rules like - Contractors have to come 5 days, the first 90 days have to be in the office, Senior leaders have to be there 5 days etc., etc. They are trying to exploit the downturn in jobs. However many people joining are just doing it until the find a more flexible job.
How's the gym in Berkeley Heights?
Expensive :)
Do not recommend taking a role at Jersey. Despite the pictures the Heights is sub-Ikea quality build quality. The toilets, sinks, and microwaves are constantly broken. No local mass transit. Local highway system is a mess. Roles are posted as hybrid but require a year in the role to have the "conversation". Depending on role 3-5 days in office in mandatory; days not in office per week need to be made up.
No
I moved on when they started talking about coming back in the office 3 out of 5 or the majority or whatever euphemism HR wanted to apply that day.
Am full remote these days far away from fiserv.
It was worth moving. I don’t have to put up with nonsense such as detailed in these threads.
Good luck to everyone I hope those looking find better places soon.
The Fiserv policy is 3 days a week in office. If PL is enforcing something different and/or making veiled threats you need to report him to HR. There’s zero reason he should be allowed to do that and create a toxic work environment.
Can the leadership / HR person just sign your posts with: Fiserv HR? After all, we know it is "you".
Yup. He is now requiring all his teams to be in at least four days a week starting tomorrow. No exceptions.
Patrick L came down the first day that Berkley heights opened and essentially threatened us with firing if we don't come in 5 days a week. So my whole department has been 5 days in for months now. Expect it for the rest of you at some point.
Various team were informed they must be in 4 days a week now, so fully expect 5 days shortly.

The only flexibility at Fiserv is how far you can bend over.
They’ll give you the remainder.
Did they tell you when you included forced off-hour supports with no pay, majority could mean at least 4 days a week in the office? Not sure how strictly this policy is enforced, when I am in the office, most seats are empty.
Fiserv believes in and practices flexibility.
The policy is the majority is a requirement and does not equal flexible. Once again, hybrid roles need not be one size fits all. Rather than a minimum of three days per week, the agreement could be two days per week, or 1 day per week. Flexibility is key and promotes work/life balance.
I’d prefer FIS. With the bad news all out their stock won’t plummet much further.
I can get remote with FIS but not fiserv.
CEO from FIS is certainly more credible than FB. If I join FIS and it splits chances are I’ll be in a much better position than laid off in New Jersey.
That is exactly what Fiserv has ia a hybrid approach. The policy is the majority, the majority is a min of three days. Very reasonable and very rational.
Remote or flexible roles are in more demand. Hybrid roles need not be one size fits all. If Fiserv were to allow for more flexibility, the talent pool would widen and candidates would be more willing to commute to an office periodically.
Berkeley Heights location is wonderful - hiring right on schedule. Would you like to join the winning team and be last of Fiserv or maybe you prefer FIS - lol
