Thread regarding Verizon Wireless layoffs

Retail store

I went to a retail store in New York today just to get a charger.

This is the state of our corporate stores-

1- 2 reps on floor, no manager, no direction
2- no greeter
3- 30 minute wait for a charger
4- rude to the customers they had and after seeing a ton of people waiting were rude to sign all in
5- incompetent
6- the lady that helped me, had tattoos on her face and was clueless. I cannot even make up this detail

If this is how your store operates, it shows that this company isn't even worth saving.

FYI you can take any accessory item to the payment kiosk. Scan and pay.

The people who say only old people come in are clueless and prove your lack of knowledge EVERY time you say that.

30 minute wait for a charger when you could have walked into any Target, Walgreens, Best Buy, Walmart and be out in 2 minutes. But instead you chose to pay 3x the retail price? Bogus post!

My store is primarily elderly and to be honest we treat the all like sh-t…treat em like sh-t and hopefully they stop coming to the store to fix their multiple Facebook accounts.

So that means you're typical Verizon corporate employee or an executive working in the many layers of made up nothingness. This is the scenario in many of our understaffed stores. Upon seeing the situation, as a vzw employee, instead of staying invisible, you should have announced to the staff who you were and at least greeted( cause you won't and can't help a csr) and get the situation in somewhat order. But like most in the VZW world you find it beneath you. Lastly, I could write a book on the missing managers and Ast mgrs(do nothing club) the time manipulation must be astronomical and widespread

"What does it matter, the company knows only old people and elderly visit stores."

a couple of years ago, my building had training rooms available for retail reps. They were disgusting. Not even talking about appearance.
Spitting on the sidewalks
Throwing MickyD bags all over the parking lot
Chain smoking

The other tenant in the building complained (they had clients coming in) but of course all they were told was suck it up and PROVE it was our people. I supported the other tenant's view!!!!
