Actually this is factual. After the mass layoff of indirect agents etc, Verizon wireless corporate customer service messaging representatives and advocates were all laid off last week.. last day 3/17 .. we are all still in shock.. only 2 positions available to apply within (social media roles which they let us know we are not qualified for)…
No wonder why Some offline PACT employees now have to pickup messaging for inside sales
Was riffed several years ago. Was with the company for 30+years. Hans is the worst thing to ever happen to vzw. Everything has declined due to his leadership, Network, customer service, management, earnings, morale, public perception and reputation. The board should be ashamed that they have allowed this joker to destroy a company that was once an industry leader. Wake up and get rid of the trash previously known as “Hans”. You have allowed a “leader” who was known for destroying Ericsson to come in and single-handedly destroy a leader. Learn from Disney who got rid of Chapek and brought back Iger. One man can destroy an entire legacy/company. Make the change before it is too late Vzw!

All Hanover employees went over to Annapolis Junction. The lease was up..No RIFs
was talking to a peer in a different department and he mentioned that the Hanover MD BGCO was closing - remainder of reps to Annapolis Junction

Heard that BGCO Irving and also some in retail were impacted. Irving was told "they are no longer needed"
The entire indirect acct mgr position was RIF’d today.
