Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Great company, all in all.

Fiserv is a great company all in all. Perfect, no. No company is but the truth is Fiserv is winning in every metric with great plans to take operational excellence to the next level as we look to improve, simplify and automate.

This week all you have to do is look at the announcement that FIS is splitting up after losing more than half of their stocks value, while Fiserv stock is one of the best in the S&P this year.

Let's pull together and make '23 a championship year!

If winning on every metric then why will they not invest in their people?

Did Fiserv lay off staff today (2/15/2023) in the Austin, TX area?

Do "great companies" lay off relationship managers, then neglect to notify the clients they supported? I guess there's no metric for that, so the answer is: "of course!" I was RIF'd three months ago and am still getting calls from clients asking why I haven't responded to their emails. :-(

Yes, many operational changes from workable fiserv platforms to unworkable inferior first data platforms. We are working backwards.

Try working with first data’s outdated and inferior systems.

I guess you were todays Frankenminnion told to type out the latest talking points on this website or be Frankendestroyed. Congrats on the successful bootlicking. Fiserv sucks under Frank, plain and simple.

It true about metrics my friend --- you are either winning or losing in the public company arena. Clearly Fiserv is winning and FIS and Global losing. There is no faking it in the big leagues you either perform or end up like FIS.

Fiserv was a great company until it became FrankServ. Over the past 3 years, it is decimated by poor management, layoffs by the thousands, loss of talent, and work place drudgery. Nobody gives a care these days. It had problems under JY but that is the one true fact of the post. IBM had problems too and still does. Xerox is dead. But it is far worse since Project Excellence and the visigoth invasion. Long gone and very content.

Apparently you do not understand metrics. They are designed to show what they want, not what is really going on.
