Capital One is silently laying off people, they are doing smaller number like couple of teams every day so that they do not have to make announcements, couple of Cyber teams got laid off couple of days back. This is pathetic so petty, do it once for all rather than in piecemeal. Nobody is safe, please keep looking for jobs, better to start early and move to a stable job elsewhere.

I find some of these comments misleading and disingenuous.
- In my past experience (about a year ago) C1 CISOs very competent and great to work with.
- The problem isn't with the Amazon and other directors and above who were hired - rather in the old guard (Richmond Mafia) who are used to a toxic work culture of intimidation, mafioso cliques, manipulative calibration etc that's ben dragging the company down.
- Fire the old guard and get rid of stack ranking using jack Welch's calibration system that has destroyed many companies, not just GE and C1.
- Create an atmosphere of innovation and trust and not a circus of bee es presentations and cookie points.

There are many VPs and Director and above hired from Amazon needs to be laid off, they are making the work culture toxic
CISO Is completely useless amd unqualified.
The CISO needs ti be laid off completely useless and poor leadership skills. He and the other EVPs in tech risk and software delivery need to be fired too. They've done nothing and know nothing.
