So based on freely available info inside the company it looks like there are over 2000 people worldwide on the bench for that last couple of months.
How do you explain that cost to shareholders?
Further reductions just seem inevitable...and a small percentage of 90k employees...say 3 percent equals around that number. There is no communication from management at all. It seems that there is no interest in trusting people with what's going on.
Like that HBR article that was shared earlier, losing trust and not being transparent has long term affects beyond that spreadsheet strategy of cuts and silence. And like someone said earlier, why would anyone want to work in that environment? I get that all corporate strategies are designed to reinforce the bottom line but wow, this whole thing is kinda pathetic and just plain mean-spirited. Losers.
