Thread regarding Truist Bank layoffs

Drop Truist like a used rubber!

I was a Branch Leader in Columbia, SC. The "leadership" at Truist is terrible, especially the regional leadership. Truist "cares" about their quarterly earnings and not about their branch level employees. There is so much opportunity out there! Life is too short to work a job that you hate.

@kzya+1lOuDLtQ - what a list, and so true.

The saddest part is the insanity of working for a company that makes you constantly worry about losing the ABSOLUTE worst job you’ll ever have.

There’s a running saying among RSBB teammates and it goes like this. Truist cares, but I’m still trying to figure out what they care about. Truist cares about one thing, job ambiguity, new expectations weekly that you never agreed to, outsourcing, high goals, no recognition, canceling tpa to save money, changing policy and procedures while failing to inform people, failing to train people, low or no raises, universal basic income for everyone regardless of role, experience or performance, group scorecards that never bake fairly, low pay outs, high turnover, constant pressure of losing the worst job you’ve had and the worst company of your nightmares, poor technology always broken, upset clients, long wait times in call centers, people hanging up on you who can’t speak English, transfers all over to wrong department, receiving incorrect information, getting on calls that have worse acting than some websites, false promises of better days ahead, lack of unity, people in jobs who have no idea what they are doing, constant turnover, divided among some heritage people with newbies indifferent not understanding the complexities of the mess we are in, constant changes in leadership, exceptions for nothing or something the bank forgot to share with you, asking you to work more to cover people who left, constant sick call outs because some days can’t see yourself subjecting yourself to the torture, constant short staff, no lunch breaks, hard to visit the restroom, no work life balance, health benefits that cost more than a plan on your own, life force that pays a tenth of the credit it used to. I’ll think of more later

Oh and let me guess that since you come from SC, you love to spout ‘woke’ insults and wave your confederate flag! All knee down to the ‘white’ folks in charge! Hence, why you hate Truist! Heaven forbid a competent person of color ‘rule’ over you!

A used rubber? That is your term for a business environment? Please leave! You actually deserve no position of leadership! You misogynistic bigot!

It is bad enough to work at a job you despise; it is infinitely worse to work at a job you despise AND for a company that despises their employees. Truist is a morally bankrupt company, period.
