I have worked at both organizations. I am surprised after the Suntrust takeover that there are still as many regions and layers. With cost cutting initiatives running rampant, is anyone hearing a flattening of the org structure and region count?

The funny part is executive management thinking they can job cut this company back into relevance. SOSDD for those who don’t know what that is look it up.

Already happening, RM’s are being riffed or moved into lesser roles as consolidation is occurring.
Region consolidation?? Flattening the org structure?? That would require that leadership actually do something! Donta be ridiculous!!!
