Thread regarding Follett layoffs

Totally lost motivation

I don't know if anyone could be motivated and productive in these circumstances and in this atmosphere. I certainly can't.
I will hardly be able to make the bare minimum effort because it is quite clear that it is much better to invest my energy into looking for a new job.

Newsflash follett/jrc- When you don't have anything the customers need out on the floor or on the textbook/materials shelves- the customers will stop coming and you will lose even more money.

So is that JRC's ultimate plan?

Motivation? Why bother? They aren't giving us a reason to BE motivated. Especially now that all the staff is fired or demoted. The morale here is non-existent and the remaining employees here are emotionally dead inside when it comes to follett. I guess when you beat people down enough and the daily whippings become routine and follett/jrc thinks you should be happy you have a job and genuflect when your p*ss poor RM shows up- which, btw, they never do. Employees have become nothing but emotionless zombies going through the motions of ringing up a sale and putting it in a bag. Followed with a flat tone and dead face "Have a day."
Freight can go unboxed, racks can go unstocked, plan-o-grams won't get done, textbooks and other course materials can go unordered, all in the name of "customer service" and make money for follett/jrc.

I will do only the bare minimum to keep my store running- or maybe I won't. Depends on how I feel that day.
To the follett/jrc corporate employees and the current remaining employees who are defending Follett and their "good for the company" attitudes- Have the day you deserve.

Just remember, d-mb looks are still free!

How do I do this?? Please help!

That's a good question! I really don't remember...

Too bad, so sad, love Dad!

Just remember, the worse they can do is fire you! Oh yeah, they've already done that!

I'm not thrilled training our Store Leader when I'm out of a job. Idk how my other coworker feels because they also got the boot. But I am doing the bare minimum.
