They’re there to “Train” an individual of how they should sell according to Verlieson’s needs NOT so they can achieve the “Required” metrics which only pay Verlieson no one else? How ethical is that?? Hey they’ve senior “TRAINING” Individuals, making six figures once again, “TRAINING” individuals which doesn’t produce nothing in return, just makes the “Upper” folks look good. Look into that, seriously, bcz “ALL” that grateful info can be easily learned on Learning Portal “AS WELL”.

This tactic might have worked in the 80s but there is a thing now called the internet. People know what they want when they get to the store, 95 percent know the phone they want and many know the deals thanks to the web, our app and we are now sending them emails and texts with the offers. They ask me about the tablet deals, they know they get $800 trade ins, I still offer these things and try to upsell, but most people want to get their sh-t and get out.
Newbie here, 5mos. Not really loving this job, but went through the training, I liked it that it gave some tips. Problem I’m having is doesn’t work on the customer. They basically shoot me down on questions and just want to cash out with what they came in for. They want to be in and out. One lady actually said I’m not here to chat can you please just get my phone so I can go about the rest on my day. Not really sure if this was the right training for retail but I could maybe use in a different job?
You're partly correct. This poster is a clerk. But tbh vz created these monsters with a lack of incentives. Don't blame the player, blame the game. The comp plan has been a joke ever since covid. They'll dangle a carrot in front of your face but we all know the juice ain't worth the squeeze.
You can barely form a cohesive sentence. You don’t understand what training professionals do to d-mb down the sales process for your ignorant barely made it through high school hood rat a-s.
Also you don’t produce revenue, you clerk and complain while going out on FMLA and grifting the disability system every year.
When we started hiring and promoting losers like this poster is when this company started going to sh-t.
The company was in a better spot when we just helped customers. Not we are up to the same old tricks that never worked and won't work. Retail and sales is not the problem.
What’s funny is this company created a culture during Covid that was “do what’s right for the customer”… we threw out numbers we eliminated the “best” sales associates and what was left was pretty much the associates that just “clerk”. And now you want everyone to just “turn” on the sales mentality like it’s a light switch in the bathroom. That’s not how it works! This training is not going to help! These reps are going to continue to clerk until you bring back individual commissions. You still don’t get it!! You keep saying “you spoke and we listened” , you obviously haven’t!!
The extra 1000 is nice, but what happens if they just jack up quotas so that no one hits it, which is most likely what will happen. Technically we can hit 300% but when we can barely hit 100%. We will see what happens April 1st.

Where in elevate did they talk about cutting costs? I'm pretty sure they offered up to an extra thousand bucks in individual incentives....
