@6tbz+1lEZiQU8 let's be honest here. IAM haven't carried a quota in the last 6 years. It is a STI role now, Analyst at best with cushy salary. You can take a 3 week vacation and there would be zero impact to the agents other than a promo form. Agents are selling regardless if you are there or not. Try taking 3 weeks off in b2b and see what happens. Retail, r2b , b2b, many other direct sales roles being measurable value to the business. They combined National and Agents 5 years ago removed quota and in 2020, VCG got 92pct STI. Cushy is about right.

To the person that said Indirect was “cushy”… One Team ruined the channel.. and guess what; You would have never been hired to carry a quota of 1400 lines, less deacs, train reps, protect the VZ brand, report daily as a SPOC, and inspect 3/4 doors a day. Good luck on the interview / job you never had.

VZ only hired DM’s that were previously screened. The “chosen” have zero relationships with the Agent principles and a Band 6 pay of $115k plus STI; Total BS . Good luck with that, as each CP will have 150+ agent doors pi---d with no IAM, and the agent principles and DM’s literally hate the One Team DM’s. Total Clown show and all non pay customers will be “selectively” moved to Corp doors and CS. Brilliant job Hans!

The client manager role was not aimed at iams if you looked at the description it was clearly directed towards upper leadership.

Sounds like this experience exposed some weaknesses in HR. You don't even reply to an internal poster that they were not qualified? Really? I somewhat get the hiring manager not reaching out if they have not been trained, but all the HR professionals have no excuse.

I haven't heard any of the 400-500 IAMs land the coveted 40 Client Manager role. I did hear of a few were able to land Analyst and Consultant roles. Big fat pay cut from the cushy job they had. A few had to go to R2B and B2B. Now they will know what a sales job is like especially in B2B.

You won't hear back. They got rid of your HIGH paying social media department for a reason. Most of you had lots of tenure and made too much money for the job you were doing and always complaining about what you all did, which for most, was bare minimum. Very few employees in that department appreciated the jobs they had! Cheers to those few individuals.
Every PULSE survey, the Social Media department expressed how disgusted they were, always making bitter comments and based on the feedback, I have news for you!
They heard you all! You demonstrated your hate through comments and pulse numbers for years, that they figured it's cheaper to give the entire department to Mexico where employees would appreciate their jobs, have some perspective and get paid less. All of your complaints about the smallest things, forced senior managers and supervisors to conduct meetings to get to the bottom of it and understand more....Ops teams would be up in arms putting slides together after every meeting where the smallest negative comment from an employee would be made.. just to prove to most of you, how much work was being done to fix and course correct cr-p that your leadership couldn't even fix. ( your attitude) Guess what? That also cost the company more money. Verizon is better off without most of you. Just remember this when you work somewhere else. You have got to "Pick and choose your battles". Be more thankful. You got paid big bucks! Your feedback in the end costs other people to be written up, at times their jobs, the company money. Give constructive feedback. If are not trying to be part of the solution, don't get yourself in it. There are ways to give feedback. Your department consistently was the most dissatisfied department in VZW. All you had to do, was answer posts. Rarely had to speak to a customer. You will be Thankful now that you no longer have your job. Sorry for those hard working ones.

I was interviewed for 2. Hiring manager called me to tell me I didn’t make it for one. The other hiring manager didn’t bother to tell me anything after getting to 2nd round. I found out through gossip who had been hired for it. Not even a reply for the other 4 that i was qualified for. Pathetic. Last day…get me out of this toxic he-l hole. The only reason I applied is because I though…what if. I didn’t want to question myself and have regrets if I didn’t at least try. Rejection and the unknown are hard. This has been a very difficult month for me emotionally. I do have several interviews lined up next week.

Nobody that I know who got RIF'd and was actively applying got an internal position. They didn't even get a response in most cases. One friend applied for 6 internals and only 2 had the deceny to reply back with "you're not qualified." another applied for 5 and didn't even get a response back for any of them.
