I got caught up in this round and kept my laptop and got all my pay. I didn't see anything grossed up in taxes.
Just means I stuck it to the man!

HPC margins are not in the single digit. You don't know what you are talking about. x86 compute yes, HPC not a chance. Foolish to pretend you know something. No Lay offs either.
You may get to keep your laptop, but HPE will report it as income and you'll have to pay taxes on it.
Depends what group you work under. Storage, some people got WFRd today. If there's been a push to move some of your deliverables overseas, then you are right to be very very anxious.

This site used to be actually reliable at one time. Now there can be mass layoffs and not a word on here, but 1-2 layoffs and folks think the company is shutting down.
I work at HPE and I heard that on Monday they're going to announce that we're expected to schedule and attend all meetings in the Metaverse.

It's semi-official. I and others are getting the axe Monday. The Spring Pruning has begun.
If I worked for the HPC division I'd be very concerned, all other product divisions have margins in the teens, HPC is below a single percent. They either need to drastically boost sales--good luck with that when that market's going to the (real) cloud--or they need to reduce expenses, and you know what that means.
They have the Spring surprise coming. They want onshore workers gone. One Monday

Ive heard no rumors of this. I heard a few occured this week, but no big cuts coming.
