I see from several posts that some of you were told by your managers or VPs that you are done with layoffs. What about those of us who weren't told anything? Does that mean that we can expect more today or next week? Or do we simply have a--hole managers who don't care how much we're stressing about this and don't think it's necessary to let us know it's done?

Everybody is double faced, especially the directors in jpmorgan; don’t trust them when they say they won’t fire;; they have fired multiple employees after explicitly stating no layoffs.. executive directors got bigger bonus but taking money from these laid off people..
The norm the last few years on the CIB side is x2 rounds each layoff year. Back in 2021 it was Mar and Sep, so being Feb, maybe next round is August?
There will be more layoffs, guaranteed!! Sean G said no more after the last round. These clowns have no idea what they are doing, they get it wrong every single time. This is the restructuring phase, there will be more in Q3 or Q4. Work on getting out now.
I think you have to always consider layoffs as a possibility. You’re always expendable at a company like this. That’s why I never feel bad leaving a job because there is no such thing as loyalty. I’m loyal to keeping a paycheck coming in.
Did you ever think that your manager might not even know? Unless they’re a VP or Exec Director, then every position below might as well be the same. They know as much as you do.
Have you ever hear of the world “ask” maybe that will shed some light to your question??
