Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

When you resign, do you keep your vested shares?

Anyone know 100%? I keep hearing mixed answers.

Vested - yes. Unvested depends on if you qualify for the Rule of 70. Now that I typed that out I realize that Rule of 70 might have been pulled by Frankie since I left 3 years ago. The old rules were combination of age plus years of service = 70 but he changed that to include “must be 60 years old” which screwed a lot of people who had already qualified.

Comments specific to Restricted Stock Units/RSU

Voluntary resign/termination--vested are your property, unvested are cancelled.

Exceptions for if you are specifically "retiring"--then under conditions, unvested shares may remain active and able to mature or vest on the schedule.

I resigned a few months ago.

Your vested shares are yours, but you will lose any unvested shares.

If you are CEO, you keep your unvested shares too.

Go on, prove me wrong.
