Thread regarding Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. layoffs

February layoffs

Alachua Florida was part of a mass layoff today. They fired 45 people.

Is this an isolated incident or is this a part of something bigger? Can we expect more layoffs in the coming weeks? It's hard when there is so little official communication on important issues like this one. It would be great if there was more transparency from management.

Yes, lots of layoffs to come. The company is horribly mismanaged. Many layers of highly compensated “leaders” who do absolutely nothing. They thought they could ride the Covid wave forever.
