See that this happens. Management at the store level should be doing all that they can to find new jobs. Work with career coaches at your local employment centers, and even the college that you currently work for -to understand your transferable skills. You have a lot more going for you than you realize! No one deserves to be treated like Follett is treating you now.

The reason you are on this site is that the academic institution you are associated with thought so highly of your skills, contributions and business expertise that they outsourced you for a few bucks and less headaches. If you work for Follett the university was your first betrayer.
The campus decided to serve you up to the follett menagerie in exchange for stable income. No one in executive leadership will read this board and care. They would have to admit they're wrong. Kissinger once quipped fights in academe are so brutal because the stakes are so low. Admitting you're wrong to improve someone else's lot isn't done.
