This last review convinced me once again that it is not worth investing any extra effort here. It is much better to put additional effort into finding another job elsewhere instead. Anyone else motivated by the review to prioritize leaving Fiserv?

Were there layoffs in Austin area today?
Well the “plan” might have been shared today in the sr leadership meeting… time will tell
If you had a couple of "Meets Most" on the latest one, get ready for the RIF.
I had decent reviews until my last one, and I was given notice about a couple months after that.
Now we work the equivalent to our merit increase. Minimal.
lol in my BU high performers who were promoted into team lead positions last year were fired in the Nov RIFs because management decided team leads were a luxury they didn't need.
Yep - It was obvious my manager was reading my self-review comments for the first time at the review meeting.
I've done my self review in literally 2 minutes since it is waste of your time just like corporate mandatory courses (safety, coruption etc...) I'm doing the bare minimum of work and still my manager is satisfied. But I have feeling this is my last months here because of high inflation, RTO for only the sake of filling the corporate building.
During last year’s review we had a bunch of first-time managers. They submitted a large number of their employees as ‘exceeds most.’ I thought there was no way they would be approved. To my surprise, they were. Every one of them. Guess what, a few months later all of those ‘exceeds most’ were let go.
Oh really! NOW you post you are ready to look for another job? How long have you seen the wreckage that IS Fiserv posted here? What about your colleagues, those empty chairs and desks. Should not that convince you? Get off your bu-t and FIND ANOTHER JOB and don't whine and complain here.
Only one company is paying employees to monitor this board. Isn't it time for your coffee break?
Exceeds rating should come with a tiara or something tangible. You turn in exceptional results worthy of the distinction, but what's the actual reward? A higher merit increase, but what maybe 0.5-1% higher than meets, then gross, after tax, across 24 pay periods, net a sweet $25 per pay period. Sure worth the extra hours and weekends to achieve that "differentiation".
I wanted to give just one of my direct reports Exceeds. He had clearly earned it. But no, it didn’t fit the bell curve. He will likely leave this year with 20 years product experience and clients will suffer.
I always ignored the review process. The self review was a waste of time. Whatever I said didn’t matter, generally my manager would agree.
The ratings were fiddled with downward to blend in with the bell.
The increment wouldn’t keep up with cost of living or the price of gas or eggs.
The review process is like standing about at a meeting and mouthing propaganda slogans that you don’t believe in. You just go through the motions and ignore the entire thing.
