Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Wells Fargo now pursuing attrition in India

Apparently India staff are so impressed by WFs new ranking system and career prospects based on it that as soon as they get an IM, they start applying out, get hired in 1-2 weeks, and leave.

The best part is, execs don't understand this, don't understand it takes months to years to fully train up a replacement, and don't understand how this is leading to system instability. Why can't they just follow the Jiras to do the job?

The cards are starting to fall.

They were having problems with this for years. They just cycle through all the banks that have locations over there.

@a3 I am Indian and I have to agree with you. The way we think how we are geniuses and explain most basic kr-p in such a grand way to make it sound we are doing something important is mind boggling. I have worked with my fellow Indians and 95% of them are super doumb. It's time everyone learned that we are not all that great with tech and most of us just do pretty much clickOps and act busy to show we are doing something.

some of the India quants think they're in God's gift to mathematics. I wouldn't hire them to hit F9 on a spreadsheet. Anyway, how many people does it actually take to lie to me and inappropriately close a jira ticket?
