Does anyone actually know people who have left specifically because of RTO?
Are they waiting to put their notice in?
Everyone says they’re going to but I haven’t seen it. I’d be interested to know.

I’ve known a couple. Specifically ones that were affected with mandate to move to NC/TX/MMK or get let go. I’ve also had a buddy leave because he was given a guarantee from his VP during COVID that he can buy a house in the boonies and would be on a permanent remote exception. Made the commute for a couple years before leaving.
Not attending would be reason to Fire with Cause, so they would not be eligible for unemployment
Why would they do it now when they could collect a paycheck for August. Also they might just not go in and see what happens to get fired and then collect unemployment. It's better to wait and see or really stick it to them and stay so that they have to lay us off. People with daycare issues and unreasonable managers will be the first to leave though. I would make them fire me. Be strong! Fight the power!!
