Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

Humana needs huge changes

Admittedly, I don't know if it's too late now, but without radical changes this will be a sinking ship. Agree? Unfortunately, the changes expected by the employees are not happening. The majority is afraid of changes for the worse.

I'm not sure that age is really even a factor here, if we're honest in the day and time of quiet quitting or even without that trendy language It seems Humana has a pattern of inbred networking.

You're not allowed to bring value unless you know someone and if you don't you're putting a target on your back. In the case of being allowed to bring value, we start to realize people are stood up without even ever actually having done so, they really don't even have to put significant effort into it.

I know for the longest time I thought it was because I'm a women, I've heard others think the same related to their nationality, religion or demographic etc.

I seem to think in hindsight it's not because of any of those things. Sadly, it's much simpler, a toxic environment full of friends who keep each other afloat and then there's the rest of us.

they are FOR PROFIT.. that's all that matters.. the bottom line.. doesn't matter if you change ALL leadership.. it will still be same thing, different day because the bottom line is they answer to shareholders.. period

Humana is just another provider of Pig feed at the trough of the markets. They may change but it won't be for your benefit or that of the members.

We have many exceptional front line associates and leaders OVER 60. It seems to me sone of the ineffective leaders are lazy 30-40 something’s without clinical backgrounds!! Humana is bringing in more and more leaders with zero healthcare background. I’m sorry, but that just doesn’t work.

Hey! As a person over 60, who is licensed, keeps up with education and trends, and is trained, educated and seasoned, that’s a bit offensive!

How can employees make any change when contractors are given praise?
The management needs change.

These old aged half blind and fake tooth managers hire brown-nosers. Old school over 60 years old managers/leads should be fired.

People sitting over 30 years at Humana and still at senior OR lead level should be terminated.
